It was a clear night, and a full moon hung in the azure sky like a god's looking glass, painting the Valley of Eternity in an ethereal glow. The Darkened Vale, home of the Kirin and Unicorn, was silent, and the Eternal Forest, in which dwelled the timeless elven-kind, hid half-shadowed by the ominous Nebulous Mount, origin of dragons and their kin.
Try not to think of me,
as the only thing in your world.
Try not to rely on me,
as the only thing to cling to.
Try not to hold on to me,
as someone that will stay forever.
Try not to comfort me,
as someone who wants to heal.
Try not to forgive me,
as someone who needs your mercy.
Try not to hope for me,
as someone who needs a little faith.
Try not to love me,
as someone who you can give you're all.
Try not to cry for me,
as someone who wants your pity.
Try not to desire me,
as someone who craves your attention.
Try not to support me,
as someone who needs your pedestal.
Try not to pray for me,
as someone who needs your god

The din of battle and the shrill cries of the horns of war echo along the valley, accompanied by a frigid breeze lined with the stench of death and cruel steel. The neigh of noble war steeds and the groans of dying men fill the night as dancing torchlight reflects off the obsidian hills, shadows dancing a mad caper along the moonlit roads, slick with the scarlet blood of the slain. Great winged beasts of ruin fly patient circles from aloft, beaded eyes watching, waiting to feed upon the corpses of the fallen.

Found a little piece of heaven the other day, on an unexpected but totally worthwhile jaunt. It may seem like driving 4 hours straight in the middle of the night is crazy, but at the end of that 4 hours, getting out of the car to see the most beautiful and amazing place ever, it's not crazy at all. And I spent that totally awesome car-ride with someone special, which made it even more of an epic adventure. I haven't had fun like that in who-knows how long, just... being myself and not feeling like I should be better than I am.
It's not often I get to go places and experience the wonders of this world, and now I just itch to do something
So, this is my first journal entry... and I feel like talking about Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series, and the possible 'rumored' movie that they are doing for the first book, which is 'rumored' to be out in 2011. We'll see...
My concern is that... I really hope they put some damn time and money and all the respect Mr. Jordan deserves for the awesome, amazing books he wrote. Hopefully, someone cares enough about the series to do it right. Hopefully that person understands every nuance and perspective that Mr. Jordan conveys in the writings. I hope it's someone who has read the books MULTIPLE times (like I have) and knows exactly how Mr. J
